How to Donate

Donate via C-U at Home:
If you'd like to donate directly to Austin's Place, you can donate through the C-U at Home website here: www.cuathome.us

Donate via FUMC:
If you'd like to donate via Champaign First United Methodist Church, see the options below. Your donations will be used for Austin's Place's Welcome Bins program.  Every woman receives a Welcome Bin when they enter Austin's Place.  Each bin contains a set of sheets, pillow, blanket, towels, washcloths, and a shower caddy.  These items go with the woman when she graduates from our program.   Any extra funds will go directly to the Austin's Place shelter, so rest assured every dollar donated will benefit the women at Austin's Place.

Donating by Check:

If you'd like to donate by check, send it to First United Methodist Church (210 W Church St, Champaign, IL 61820), designating it for Austin's Place.

Donating online:

Austin's Place welcomes online cash donations via PayPal or Vanco. (You don't have to be a PayPal customer to make a donation.) Donations go through Champaign First United Methodist.  Be sure to designate your gift for Austin's Place.

What does my donation do?
Your donation will pay maintenance and utilities costs for the house that is a home for our women.

Our home is staffed 24/7 with trained staff in order to provide support for our women whenever it is needed.  Staff provide transportation to doctor's appointments, life skill classes, and work opportunities until a woman is able to manage her own schedule and navigate the bus system.  Staff salaries are supported through donations.

We are excited to have a full kitchen in our house.  Our women plan meals, make grocery lists, and prepare meals for themselves.  Plans are being made to have guest chefs teach cooking classes for residents.  Shopping and cooking are two valuable skills needed for healthy and independent living.  Your donations helps provide groceries and classes.

Austin's Place residents are responsible for keeping their living space (inside and out) clean and tidy.  Your donation provides cleaning supplies and lawn maintenance equipment.

Our women do their own laundry using the in-house laundry facilities.  Laundry supplies are purchased with donation funds.

Education and job skill training is provided in our program.  From tuition, books, class supplies to resume writing, interview skills, and developing good work habits, your donation makes a difference.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
