Austin’s Place: An emergency shelter for homeless women

 
           We will provide emergency overnight sleeping space that is safe, respectful, and restful for homeless women in our community through partnership with the Council of Service Providers to the Homeless in response to the urgent need for emergency shelter during the winter months, and in response to the call of Jesus Christ to serve one another.

 
  We have identified the following goals to accomplish our Mission:

·         To train volunteers in the philosophy of homelessness, as well as, the delivery of services

·         To provide an experience to homeless women that is hospitable and loving

·         To introduce all persons to Jesus in loving ways

·         To treat all persons with dignity

·         To work in an organized and efficient manner
